Mitigation
Workshops on the Web
Through
funds from the Department of Community Affairs’ Hurricane Loss Mitigation
Program, the Governor’s Hurricane Conference is pleased to offer the attendees
several of the 2003 workshop sessions on the Internet.
Selected
workshops that promote awareness of hurricane mitigation and repetitive loss
issues and associated planning techniques are now available for viewing. They include video, transcript and
audiovisual presentations. Sessions are available free of charge to anyone
wishing to view them. This project makes
it possible for attendees who missed one or more of these workshops to view the
session on the Web. Those who were
unable to attend the 2003 Conference also have access.
The
workshops captured include:
WS-G13
WS-I 7
WS-R10 Nontraditional
Partners Help Make Mitigation Happen
WS-R11 The Disasters Contractors Network -
After the Storm is Over
WS-R12 Building Disaster Resistant Neighborhoods
