The FEPA Annual Meeting Committee welcomes your programming ideas for the upcoming Annual Meeting and Work Session taking place January 30 to February 3, 2023 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Recommendations on topics and/or speakers are encouraged to ensure we deliver a thoughtful and engaging experience for all attendees.
Call for Presentation - Due 11:59 p.m. on Sun. October 16, 2022
The Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) welcomes all interested parties to submit a presentation proposal for consideration for the training, general, or breakout sessions during FEPA’s 2023 Annual Meeting and Work Session. The Annual Meeting Committee is looking for high quality, experienced presenters to offer dynamic sessions that will further the training and education mission of the Association at the upcoming FEPA Annual Meeting and Working Session.
A broad variety of topics and delivery approaches that provide case-study scenarios, lessons learned, practical applications, and/or business and nongovernmental integration into emergency management are encouraged for consideration.

Thank you for attending the FEPA Mid-Year Work Session
The Mid-Year Work Session highlighted the work of the Association’s Committees and Working Groups, allowing members to discuss emergency management programs, regulations, and activities of local, regional, and state impact. The Work Session provided time for member input on FEPA programs and projects.
The full week of activities included, time for the formal business of the Association, and an opportunity for continued collaboration with the Florida VOAD.

2022 Intermediate EM Academy
When: June 12 to June 17, 2022.
Where: Flagler County Emergency Operations Center
The Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) Intermediate Emergency Management Academy is a six (6) day intensive Emergency Management training geared to new emergency managers that have five (5) or less years in emergency management. The Academy is a practitioner-based training curriculum that includes instruction on emergency management fundamentals with practical applications and course work related to the basic principles of the profession. Time in the classroom is well balanced with exercises and team building activities. Students will endure long days simulating a real-life deployment during an emergency response. An experienced cadre of skilled instructors with specific subject matter expertise deliver the curriculum. A limited number of seats are available.
